Gender and Development (GAD) aims to:

GAD AGENDA POLICY FRAMEWORK
INHERENT VALUES
REALIZATIONS
The gender roles that our society has developed back then created a big impact in every aspect of our lives. Extreme patriarchy until now has limited women rights and looked down on their respective roles in the society. Men are always expected to be strong when in fact, they are also humans who get hurt and tired. We should teach the future generation to break the gender roles that the society has set because it can socially, emotionally, mentally, physically and politically affect every one of us. It creates a culture who doesn’t recognize human rights.
Upon reading the articles, I realized the importance of Gender and Development (GAD). It aims to encourage, protect, recognize and value both men and women in our society. GAD wants everyone to be considered in developing and processing societal decisions without gender inferiority and superiority. Little things that we do to our fellow people can affect our society. Fairness and respectfulness must be observed from everyone to avoid conflicts that may harm each other.
